A competent contractor in our immediate industry that provides glass for New Construction projects and also maintains a Service Unit to offer daily ‘glass support’ as needed for the buildings in its market region may still not be deemed a true full-service provider if it did not also perform Renovation work for existing structures…a very specialized construction activity (and skill set) in which Horizon Glass very actively participates…and proudly performs.
Unlike both new construction and traditionally smaller service projects – Renovation typically involves the large-scale and complete removal of older window systems which have outlived their useful life as part of the existing building envelope, and the installation of ‘all-new’ windows that will ultimately provide measurably significant improvements for the building’s occupants in the areas of comfort, energy savings, aesthetics, and in certain strictly-specified instances…security and protection.
