Horizon Glass is a proud participant and supporter of LEED-certified buildings creating a cleaner and healthier environment for future generations through responsible building today. LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is a rating system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, which measures design, construction, operation and maintenance of “green” buildings and homes around the world.
Since 1998, over 7,000 new construction projects in the United States and 30 foreign countries have been certified by LEED. Horizon Glass has the knowledge and experience of working on many LEED-Certified buildings right here in Colorado and has applied the requirements of this system to guarantee the glass products we use in these specially designated projects are within energy conservation guidelines.
